Namoi Cotton Alliance
NCA operates three of its own warehousing facilities located at Wee Waa in the Namoi Valley, Goondiwindi in the MacIntyre Valley and Warren in the Macquarie Valley.
NCA trades lint cotton originated by Namoi Cotton’s grower services team. The trading incorporates significant risk management and financing activities and global reach marketing and selling cotton into China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Bangladesh, India and Turkey markets. These cotton trading activities are supported by extensive warehousing and logistic services operations that ensure the efficient storage, handling and movement of the cotton into these end markets. NCA also operates a grain packing business providing an efficient and cost-effective supply chain solution to growers and merchants for their grain logistics and container packing requirements for exported grain.
Our facilities are well maintained and we offer competitive and flexible rates.
Namoi Cotton Alliance has recently been accredited under the Australian Border Force (ABF) trade facilitation program as an Australian Trusted Trader (ATT). This accreditation recognises the NCA’s commitment to improving supply chain security and allows us to facilitate more secure and cost effective transactions to countries that have Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA).
As a Trusted Trader exporter, our MRA partner economies will recognise our status as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) and goods packed at our warehouses will be given preferential treatment upon arriving at their boarders. NCA is committed to improving and enhancing our supply chain capabilities and gaining ATT accreditation is another step in the right direction.
