Ben Coulton Retires from the Namoi Cotton Limited Board
Namoi Cotton Limited (ASX:NAM) Chairman Mr Stuart Boydell today announced Mr Ben Coulton, a Grower Director of Namoi Cotton had retired, effective immediately.
Mr Coulton said, “I have been a Board Member of Namoi Cotton since 2006 and the ensuring period has seen some tremendous achievements and many challenges for the organisation. The ability of the company, to trade though any circumstances whilst continuing to provide critical and industry leading services and products to the cotton growers of the Australian cotton industry has been of great pleasure to me personally and a privilege to be a part of with my fellow Directors.”
“After almost twelve years being involved and with the Restructure completed last year representing a new era for Namoi Cotton, I feel the time is right to devote more time family and farming interests”, Mr. Coulton added.
Mr Boydell said, “Mr Coulton has been a strong and effective contributor to Namoi Cotton in his time on the Board. During this period, Mr Coulton has provided invaluable stewardship in assisting Namoi Cotton successfully navigate its way through droughts, record Australian production, significant market volatility and debts levels, a capital raising and formation of Namoi Cotton Alliance and most recently the corporate Restructure of Namoi Cotton from Co-operative to fully ASX listed public company in October 2017.”

Mr. Boydell advised the Board is working through a Director recruitment process as part of Director succession planning following the Restructure and will keep the market updated on any Director changes at Namoi Cotton.
