2017 Long Service Awards & Charity Supplier Golf Day
Each year, Namoi Cotton hosts a Charity Auction Dinner and Supplier Golf Day to raise funds for the local community.
This year was no exception with the dinner and golf day held in mid-October at the Wee Waa Golf Club. The dinner was overwhelmingly supported by over 130 people, and once again superbly catered for by Connie Smith and her team.
On the night, Namoi Cotton was very proud to be able to donate $10,000 to the Wee Waa Auxiliary to assist with the purchase of equipment for the new Palliative Care room at the Wee Waa Hospital. They pledged a further $10,000 to the Yarrie Lake Water Bore Fundraiser to secure a permanent water supply for the Yarrie Lake.
The evening also facilitates Namoi Cotton with a platform to publicly recognise and congratulate their Long Serving Staff. This year recognition was granted to:

Throughout the day, Sad and his team worked hard to provided the much needed
nurishment and hydration to the golfers. Overall winners on the day were Mike Murray & Tony Stahlhut from Wathagar Gin and Nick Thomson from Samuel Strapping Systems.
