Namoi Cotton was established in 1962 as a Co-operative registered in New South Wales with grower members. On the 10 October 2017, Namoi Cotton transitioned from a Co-operative to a publicly listed company with shareholders.
In 2012 celebrated its 50th Anniversary and successfully ginned their 25th Millionth bale in during the ginning season.
Namoi Cotton undertakes cotton ginning, cotton marketing and cotton seed marketing services in rural regions of New South Wales and southern Queensland. As part of the Namoi Cotton Alliance joint venture owns and operates warehouse and commodity packing facilities in Wee Waa, Warren and Goondiwindi.
In addition Namoi Cotton is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
The Namoi Cotton business is operated by its experienced and dedicated staff who, by being based within rural communities, align themselves with the needs of Australia’s cotton growers.
Namoi Cotton has 12 operational cotton gins and pursuant to the Namoi Cotton Alliance Joint Venture, 3 warehouse facilities and 3 packing facilities which are capable of handling 1.5 million bales per season.
